  问题1：您认为未来10年中国乃至全球的LNG行业的市场需求如何？并将有怎样的技术发展趋势？
    Questions1：What do you think about the market demand in the LNG field of China and the world will to be in the next 10years? and what's the technology development trend will to be?
    Werner Schlott (Managing Director/CEO/ TGE Gas Engineering)：The LNG market is growing worldwide, and specifically in China. All growing industrial countries require energy to secure the growth – growth for industrial production and also for the comfort of a growing population – electricity, heating, energy for cooking, etc.
    Natural Gas is an important factor in the primary energy source. Currently we have a participation of Natural Gas in the Primary Energy Mix of approx. 23.8% worldwide and in China 3.4% only. The increase in the last year for Natural Gas consumption was 21.7% in China. For the time being oil and coal remain as the main source for primary energy in China. But reserves of oil are restricted, low cost coal has a quality that is not environmental friendly. Nuclear Power has a serious problem in the safety concern – especially since the major earthquake in Japan in March last year. Natural Gas reserves are still under discovery and more supply alternatives are developed (Shale Gas, etc.) and Natural Gas is the cleanest burning fossil fuel and provides major benefit for the environmental protection.
    LNG – Liquefied Natural Gas – plays an important role for all locations which cannot be reached easy by pipeline connection – due to distances, country borders, difficult geologic condition (mountain, sea, etc.).
    The LNG Trade is constantly increasing (prediction are for an average of 4.4% per year for the next 30 years by BP). In 2010 we had worldwide trade of 212 Million tons of LNG of which 9.47 Million tons LNG was imported to China. This is 4.5% of the world trade amount. Please remember 5 years ago there was none LNG import to China. China plays already a major role in the LNG trade and the tendency is increasing with a higher prediction than average.
    Currently several LNG import terminals along the coast of China are in operation, under construction and under planning. This situation reflects the importance to add additional energy supply to the coastal area and to distribute equally to the industrial centre but also to the development areas.
    LNG import has become a part of the energy mix in China – important and growing. In the next 10 years we expect the LNG import to China in the range of 40 Million tons of LNG per year – mostly 4 times the amount of 2010.

    天然气在基础能源供应中是一个重要因素，目前我们所参与的一次能源结构中天然气约占世界的23.8%份额，而在中国仅占3.4%，近年中国的天然气消耗正以21.7%的速度增长，目前石油和煤炭依然是中国一次能源的主要来源，但石油的储量有限，低价煤有一个特点是不环保，核能存在严重的安全隐患问题——特别是自去年三月日本大地震以后，天然气储量还在发掘，并有更多的替代品供应已经被开发出来了（如岩层气等），天然气是最清洁的化石燃料，为环保提供了重要保证。
    LNG（液化天然气）在所有由于距离、国家边界、较差的地质条件（山脉、海洋等）等因素、管道连接不易到达的场合扮演了重要角色。LNG贸易在不断增加（BP组织预言未来30年将以每年4.4%的速度增长）2010年我们在世界范围内2.12亿吨的液化天然气贸易，有947万吨进入了中国。这是世界LNG贸易量的4.5%,而5年前根本就没有液化天然气进口中国，中国开始在LNG市场扮演重要角色，且其趋势是正以高于平均水平的速度在增长。
    目前一些液化天然气进口码头沿着中国沿海在运作、在建设和规划。这反映了为沿海地区、分布均匀的工业中心和开发区增加额外的能源供应的重要性。
LNG进口已经成为中国能源结构重要增长的一部分——我们可以预见未来10年中国的LNG进口量将在每年4000万吨——几乎是2010年进口总额的4倍。
    问题2：结合这样的趋势，TGE今后在LNG领域将会有怎样的业务发展规划？
    Questions2： Combined with this trend，What's the TGE business development planning in the LNG field will to be in the future?（Answer in 200-300 words）
Werner Schlott (Managing Director/CEO/ TGE Gas Engineering)：As mentioned before the LNG market is growing. LNG trade in large scale with big size gas carrier (250,000 m3 size) is in service and corresponding big size receiving and storage facilities are being developed. The energy security for future becomes a strategic decision of country importance – the creating of LNG Hubs will come. But not only big size LNG trade will grow, also in the specific area for small to medium scale LNG production and distribution new business will be developed.
TGE Gas Engineering will provide added value to the projects of our customer – big or medium or small scale. We have the unique situation that TGE can arrange in addition to our own capability also to provide services of the CIMC Group including the equipment needed for the LNG distribution logistic.
    We are convinced that we are already an important partner of the business community for the LNG market in China and worldwide. Certainly we have competition – but we are not afraid of competition. We always have to provide our best service to a customer. All our executed LNG projects are performed to the satisfaction of our customer and this is a good reference for future activities. Our target is to grow together with the growth of the LNG market.

    Questions to Dr. Michael Haid
    问题1：您认为目前实现清洁能源天然气的关键是什么？
    Questions1：What's the key to realize the clean energy natural gas at present?
Dr. Michael Haid (Managing Director /TGE Gas Engineering)：Natural gas is unquestionable an affordable source for clean energy demand. It will play in form of pipeline gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG) an increasingly important role especially in countries with rising energy demand. Natural gas is by its nature the cleanest fossil fuel and allows emission reduction for CO2 by 25%, NOX by 90%, SOX by 100% and particulate matter (PM) by 100% comparing LNG with heavy fuel oil (HFO). Natural gas and especially LNG is a very flexible clean energy source for electric power generation, industrial consumers and transportation fuel. Modern gas fired power plants emit between 50% and 70% less CO2 than coal fired power plants per megawatt of electricity generated. More stringent environmental legislations such as IMO MARPOL Annex VI on SOX, NOX, and PM maritime emission limits for emission controlled areas (ECA) gave a further momentum to it.
    During the past five decades LNG opened the market for natural gas in regions not connected to the gas pipeline grid. This new flexibility in combination with an economical attractive price level contributed very much to the success story of natural gas. Since LNG occupies 600 times less volume than natural gas under ambient conditions LNG can be easily and economically transported like any other liquid fuel. Nowadays, a broad range of transportation solutions exist starting with 20 m³ trucks up to 266,000 m³ carriers allowing the implementation of flexible and easily expandable LNG supply and distribution infrastructures to serve the needs for world’s clean energy future. Much work has been done lately to develop missing regulations for the LNG distribution infrastructure. To accelerate permit procedures a harmonized permitting process is required which is still not the case in many countries. Natural gas offers us the unique opportunity to secure clean energy well into the future.
    Michael Haid 博士（TGE气体工程有限公司执行总裁）：天然气毫无疑问是一种负担得起的清洁能源需求的来源。它将在管道天然气和液化天然气的方式中扮演越来越重要的角色，特别是在能源需求不断上升的国家和地区。天然气的本质是最清洁的化石燃料，相比重燃料油（重油）可减排二氧化碳25%、氮90%、袜100%，微粒100%。天然气特别是液化天然气是一种非常灵活的清洁能源，可广泛应用于发电、工业消费和运输燃料。现代燃气电厂每兆瓦发电排放的二氧化碳比燃煤发电厂少50%到70%。更严格的环境立法给了它进一步发展的动力，就如《国际海事组织公约附件六》中硫氧化物、氮氧化物和微粒在发射控制的地区（非洲经委会）的海上发射限值。
    在过去的50年间，LNG打开了那些没有连接天然气管道网络地区的天然气市场。这一新的灵活性加上经济的、非常具有吸引力的价格水平成就了天然气的成功故事。由于在自然条件下液化天然气所占体积比天然气小600倍，液化天然气可以像其它液态燃料一样方便、经济地运输，现在，范围广泛的运输解决方案开始出现了从20立方米至266000立方米的卡车运营商，以适应世界清洁能源未来实施灵活、易于扩展的液化天然气供应和分销基础设施服务需求。最近人们为液化气配送基础设施开发短缺的条例做了大量工作。为加快许可程序，一个统一的许可程序是必需的，这种情况在许多国家还没有。天然气为我们提供了很好地实现清洁能源到未来的独特机会。
    问题2：TGE目前在清洁能源天然气方面有怎样的技术或实力优势？以及今后的发展规划是什么样的？
Questions2：Which stren gth or technical advantages does TGE have in the clean energy natural gas industry? And what's the TGE business development planning about that in the future?
    Dr. Michael Haid (Managing Director /TGE Gas Engineering)：：TGE is one of world’s leading contractors for LNG storages and terminals. LNG import terminals are for many countries the only economical solution to cover their energy demand and to supply natural gas to their national pipeline grid. TGE’s past and present developments in the area of re-gasification, boil of gas handling and storage lower investment cost, shorten project execution time and reduce operations cost. With the recent acquisition of Technodyne International TGE strengthened its tank design competence and jointly developed world’s first mega storage tank with a capacity of more than twice the storage tank capacity as built today.
    Besides the trend to go bigger a second trend goes towards small and mid scale. While small and mid scale natural gas liquefaction utilizes stranded and unconventional gas, small and mid scale LNG distribution supplies natural gas to stranded consumers and LNG as transportation fuel. Since TGE is not bound to any liquefaction process and equipment supplier, TGE is able to select the most suitable technology giving the certainty to the client that he obtains the best liquefaction plant solution. In the growing field of small and mid scale LNG terminals, TGE is developing the next generation of terminals combining the standardization and modularization approach of TGE’s gas processing business with TGE’s comprehensive experience in big terminals. Small and mid scale terminals will play in future a central role in the LNG supply chain serving as hubs to supply natural gas to power plants, to industrial consumers and to residential areas, as LNG bunkering terminals and for further LNG distribution. As part of the CIMC group TGE is able to fully integrate CIMC’s comprehensive LNG product portfolio.
